A day at the pumpkin patch

9th October 2016

Hello you lovely lot! The nights are drawing in, the leaves are starting to turn and the dreaded humidity of Summer is a distant memory. It’s definitely Autumn!! Maybe it is because my birthday is in October but I’ve always loved Autumn, I love everything about it, the food (definitely not salad weather anymore), the fashion (hello comfy jumpers and boots), the crisp feel of the air and most of all Pumpkin Spiced Lattes.

Today the Fairbears went out for one of our favourite things to do in Autumn visiting the pumpkin patch. There’s one about 15 minutes from our house that is fantastic, it’s full of fun things to do for the kids like climbing a giant spider, or having a bounce on the space hoppers.

And of course picking out the perfect pumpkin to grace out front step. It’s also a fantastic place to grab a seasonal photo of the kids, I saw a Mum with her baby dressed up as a pumpkin and thought it was an amazing idea for a fab photo to send to family members. My little models weren’t super up to for a picture but I didn’t manage to get some sweet snaps.

Poor little RB is in serious teething territory at the moment so keeping her snuggled up in the sling for most of the visit was the order of the day.

What are your favourite family autumnal adventures, tell us in the comments below.
